Zentabi is mainly designed for international travelers who have already visited Japan, often Tokyo, Kyoto, or Osaka, and are wondering where to go next.

First-time visitors may also use the service, but some suggestions may involve rural or less familiar areas that require additional transportation planning.

Zentabi is intended to help you discover places you may not have searched for or selected yourself.

You can set the general direction by choosing an exploration theme.

The prefecture is selected by program logic from Japan's 47 prefectures. AI does not choose the prefecture.

AI then suggests one specific destination in that prefecture, taking into account the exploration theme you selected.

Yes. The current version can be used without payment or account registration.

This may change in the future. Any paid feature will be clearly identified before payment is required.

5. If you want to know more, open the details, which may include places to visit, a suggested itinerary, and an "Around this place" map.
6. Verify important information before booking or traveling.

Generation time depends on system conditions and the AI service used by Zentabi.

It usually takes about 20 to 60 seconds. Please keep the page open while the suggestion is being generated.

Yes, although repeated requests may be temporarily limited to protect the service from excessive or automated use.

Zentabi is intentionally designed to suggest destinations outside the most common tourist routes.

Some destinations may require more transportation planning than Tokyo, Kyoto, or Osaka.

Yes. Zentabi is designed for modern desktop and mobile browsers.

Zentabi does not currently save generated suggestions or itineraries to its own database or files.

Once you close or leave the result page, Zentabi may not be able to restore the same suggestion.

While showing a suggested destination, Zentabi may ask optional questions about whether the destination had crossed your mind before and whether you would consider visiting it.

These questions use fixed answer choices — there is no free-text field. The questions are optional and do not affect your ability to use Zentabi.

Zentabi may store the following information in your browser:

• your cookie and analytics preference
• up to five recently selected destination prefectures, to reduce immediate repetition
• limited retry and usage state used to operate and protect the service

This information remains on your device unless it is replaced, removed by Zentabi's normal operation, or cleared through your browser.

The prefecture is selected by program logic. The specific destination, the reasons and practical points shown, and the itinerary details are generated with AI.

No.

AI-generated information may contain errors or outdated details. Places may close, schedules may change, and prices or availability may differ from the generated suggestion.

Practical points such as English level, car need, and the biggest downside are general guidance generated by AI, not verified assessments.

Zentabi sends the exploration theme you selected, the stay-length setting (currently set automatically), the service language setting, and up to five previously selected destination prefectures to the AI provider so that it can generate the suggestion.

Zentabi does not intentionally send your IP address to the AI provider.

Zentabi uses analytics only after you provide consent.

Essential browser storage may still be used to remember your consent choice, reduce immediate destination repetition, manage retries, and protect the service.

Yes. You can open Cookie Settings from the footer and change your analytics preference at any time.

Declining analytics prevents future optional analytics events from being sent by Zentabi. Where technically possible, Zentabi also attempts to remove Google Analytics cookies set for the site.

The details for a suggested destination may include links to independent accommodation, activity, map, tourism, or booking services so that you can research current information and availability.

External websites are operated independently. Their own terms, privacy policies, prices, availability, booking conditions, and cancellation rules apply.

The current version does not use affiliate tracking IDs.

If affiliate links are introduced in the future, eligible links will be clearly disclosed near the link before you click, and the relevant legal documents will be updated.

Availability, prices, listings, routes, and search results are controlled by the third-party service and may change at any time.
